From Interstate 87 (I-87): On I-87 (New York State Thruway) approach the interchange for the New York State Thruway near Tarrytown/South Nyack. Take the exit that leads toward Interstate 287/Tarrytown (often the same interchange where I-87 and I-287 meet). After exiting, follow signs toward the village of Tarrytown / US-9. Enter Tarrytown via US-9 (Broadway). Continue on US-9 until you reach East Sunnyside Lane. Turn onto East Sunnyside Lane and proceed to number 49, which is the destination.
From Interstate 287 via the New York State Thruway (eastern end of the Tappan Zee Bridge): Driving across the Tappan Zee Bridge heading east (from Rockland into Westchester) you will be on the New York State Thruway (I-87/I-287). Keep right and take the exit for Tarrytown / US-9. Merge onto US-9 (Broadway) heading north into Tarrytown. In Tarrytown, locate East Sunnyside Lane off of US-9 and turn onto it. Continue to 49 E Sunnyside Lane.
From New York State Route 119 (NY-119): NY-119 begins at US-9 in Tarrytown and runs eastward. If you are coming westward on NY-119 toward US-9 in Tarrytown: when you reach the intersection with US-9 (Broadway) in Tarrytown you’ll turn onto US-9 (northwards) toward the river. Then from US-9 turn onto East Sunnyside Lane. Drive to 49 E Sunnyside Lane.
Airport Directions:
To Westchester County Airport (HPN) from Tarrytown House: Head northwest on E Sunnyside Lane toward US-9.Turn onto US‑9 and then merge onto I-287 East / West (depending on routing). Take I-684 South from I-287. Exit I-684 at Exit 2 toward Westchester County Airport. Follow Airport Road into the airport. Travel time: ~22 minutes
To LaGuardia Airport (LGA) from Tarrytown House: From E Sunnyside Lane, get to US-9 and then to I-287 East. Continue on I-287 and connect to I-95 / New England Thruway. Cross into the Bronx (depending on route) and take the Whitestone Bridge or another connection toward Queens. From Queens, take the Grand Central Parkway toward LGA. Use the LGA airport exit off the Parkway. Travel time: ~40 minutes
To John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) from Tarrytown House: Leave via US-9 → I-287 East. Merge into I-95 South / New England Thruway. Take the exit onto the Van Wyck Expressway (I-678) heading south. Follow signs to JFK; enter the correct terminal loop depending on which terminal you need. Travel time: ~54 minutes
To Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) from Tarrytown House: From E Sunnyside Lane, get onto I-87 / New York State Thruway (via local roads). Continue and merge to I-95 South / New Jersey Turnpike. Stay on I-95 / Turnpike, then take the exit for Newark Liberty International Airport. Travel time: ~56 minutes
